Underground Cable Replacement
Orbital provided the engineering services required for the replacement of existing, vintage underground 15kV non-jacketed concentric primary cable. The new cable is installed in conduit to improve distribution reliability for future outages related to primary cable faults. Services include identifying existing easements; survey of existing equipment; obtaining utilities record plans; development of drawings; review of line fusing sequence and total connected electric load; development of material takeoffs.
