Transmission Pipeline Detailed Engineering
Orbital performed the detailed design for the replacement of existing 10” and 12” natural gas mains with approximately 3.5 miles of 16” high pressure steel pipeline. Scope of this project included performing survey, Geotech investigation, developing design drawings, construction specifications and equipment and material lists for the pipeline and pigging (launcher and receiver) facilities, cathodic protection design, odorization plan, permitting support, QA/QC requirements, including a TIC estimate.
